ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Friday cut the petrol price and maintained the diesel price for the weekend.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs3.93 per liter, while the high-speed diesel (HSD) price was kept unchanged.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for October 17, 18, and 19, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs386.30 per liter and diesel at Rs396.96 per liter.

On October 15, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) cut the petrol price to Rs390.23 per liter and hiked the diesel price to Rs396.65 per liter.

The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
