MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The district administration has announced fresh fruit, vegetable, chicken, and fruit prices in Muzaffarabad.
According to the notification issued by the Muzaffarabad administration, the price of boiler chicken is fixed at Rs 484, and the price of Breeder Chicken is Rs 590.
Whereas the golden chicken price is fixed at Rs 1050 and Rs 890.
According to the new rate list, shopkeepers have been strictly instructed to display the updated prices clearly, with warnings of legal action in case of non-compliance.
As per the new rates, Grade 1 potatoes will now be sold at Rs 80 per kg, while Grade 2 will cost Rs 60. Chinese garlic has been priced at Rs 310 per kg for Grade 1 and Rs 200 for Grade 2.
Red onions are set at Rs 90 (Grade 1) and Rs 50 (Grade 2). Cauliflower will be sold at Rs 150 for Grade 1 and Rs 120 for Grade 2, while French beans and bitter gourd are priced at Rs 260.
