NEELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Despite the reports of tension along the Line of Control (LoC), the situation in Neelum Valley remains calm and peaceful.
However, the Kashmiri people living near the Line of Control have issued a stern warning to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
The residents state that if India attempts any kind of aggression, they are ready to fight alongside the Pakistan Army. Due to the foolproof security arrangements in the valley, not only locals but also tourists from all over the country are visiting Neelum Valley in large numbers.
While talking to Kashmir Digital locals and tourists said that the Indian media and government have been continuously spreading false propaganda for a week that there is tension on the Line of Control, while the reality is opposite. All areas of the Neelum Valley Line of Control are completely peaceful, and there is no report of any kind of firing or aggression.
People in the Karen sector said that we want to give a clear message to the Modi government, we have been responding to the Indian alert for a week in a peaceful manner, but if India makes any move, we also have to settle our past accounts.
Another citizen said in a resolute tone. How many Kashmiris will you kill? Hafiz Munir will come out of every house, and we will sacrifice ourselves before our army.
In addition, a tourist from Karachi said that he had come with his family to visit Neelum Valley, and the situation here is completely peaceful and safe; the Pakistan army is with us; rather, they say that you can roam around, there is no restriction or atmosphere of fear here. Modi cannot spoil anything!
Moreover, local youth said that there is silence on the Line of Control on the Indian side, but there is more movement than usual on the Pakistani side, and people themselves are going near the Line of Control and giving the message that the people and forces of Pakistan stand together on every front.
The security situation is completely under control, the Pakistan Army is fully alert and ready to deal with any situation. The public has been asked not to pay attention to rumors and to believe only in news obtained from authentic sources.
