NEELUM (Kashmir English): The third round of the Big Catch-Up Vaccination Campaign has been launched under the auspices of the Public Health Department.

The Big Catch-Up Vaccination Nation will continue from June 16 to 28 to “cover” the children who missed out on routine immunizations in Neelum.

This 12-day campaign is being led by District Health Officer Dr. Ghulam Nabi Mughal, while regular monitoring is being carried out by the District EPI team at the field level.

The campaign aims to provide vaccination facilities to children below the age of five who have missed out on routine immunizations for any reason.

The immunization campaign is being carried out with national enthusiasm. Mobile teams are reaching villages and camps in rural areas and vaccinating children.

On the special instructions of Dr. Ghulam Nabi, data of children aged 9 to 14 years is also being compiled during the campaign, which is very important for the upcoming HPV vaccination campaign.

The district EPI team, LHW network, vaccinators, and relevant field staff are actively participating in the campaign, and the reporting and data management process is being completed daily.

Additionally, 28 mobile teams are working across the district for the vaccine campaign, which will go from village to village and vaccinate children. Dr. Ghulam Nabi appealed to the public to fully cooperate in getting children vaccinated so that every child can move towards a safe future.
