NEELUM (Kashmir English): The District Elementary Education Board Neelum has officially announced the results of the annual examinations of classes 5th and 8th for the academic year 2025-26.
The District Education Officer Muhammad Rafiq Samad attended the results announcement ceremony as the special guest, while Chairman of the Board Sheikh Ehsan-ul-Haq, Controller of Examinations Sagheer Ahmed, Secretary Board Rana Sultan Ahmed, and Secretarial Officer Khawaja Ghulam Rasool were also present on the occasion.

In the eighth-grade examinations, Ahsan Javed of Boys High School Nagdar secured first position, Huma Ijaz of Hareem School Dawarian secured second position, and Anisa Akhtar of Afaq Public School Dawarian secured third position.
In the fifth-grade examinations, Shamma Mustafa of Government Girls Primary School Khawaja Seeri secured first position, Syed Hassan Ali Naqvi of Aamir Public School Barian secured second position, and Rabia Latif of Shining School Chalhana secured third position.
The success rate of students in class 5 was better than that of class 8. A total of 2408 candidates participated in the eighth-grade exams, out of which 2092 candidates passed. The success rate was 86.95%.
Similarly, a total of 3358 candidates participated in the fifth-grade exams, out of which 3056 passed, and the success rate was 91.01%.
According to the Chairman of the Board, a grand ceremony will be held in honor of the position holder students, their parents, and teachers, a week later at the Boys Degree College, Athmuqam Hall.
The ceremony will be attended by the Senior Most Minister of the Government, Mian Abdul Waheed Advocate, Secretary Education Schools Qazi Inayat, and Nazim Education Schools Qazi Abdul Jalil Jalali as special guests.
