ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has forecasted unstable weather in various parts of Pakistan from May 1 to 7.

According to the latest weather forecast by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the forecast has indicated the possibility of heavy rains, windstorms, and hailstorms across Pakistan.

According to the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) of the NDMA, these severe weather conditions will be faced in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, central and upper Punjab, northern Balochistan, and southern Sindh.

According to the authority, these weather conditions will be due to moisture coming from the eastern regions and the Arabian Sea, which will also increase in temperature and humidity.

As a result, water may accumulate in low-lying areas, while there may be a risk of landslides in mountainous areas. Residents are requested to stay up to date with the latest weather forecast before heading outside.
