LAHORE (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra (Rewind), in which detailed consultations were held on the country’s political situation, government formation in Azad Kashmir, and the name of the new Prime Minister.
According to media reports, the meeting between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif lasted for about two hours. The meeting discussed the overall political situation of the country, government affairs and the future political course of action.
The two leaders also reviewed the current political situation in Azad Kashmir and consulted on various issues related to government formation. On this occasion, the names of potential candidates under consideration for the new Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir were also discussed.
Who will be the next PM of AJK?
Media reports have said that the top leadership of the PML-N has decided on the name of the new Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir; however, the final name has not been officially announced yet.
The name of the new Prime Minister is expected to be announced soon, after which the situation regarding the formation of a new government in Azad Kashmir will become clearer.
In the meeting, the two leaders also held detailed consultations on the political situation of Azad Kashmir and the future course of action. The PML-N leadership reviewed various aspects related to political stability in Azad Kashmir and the effective running of the government.
After the meeting, the PML-N leadership is waiting for the announcement of the name of the new Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, which is expected to clarify the direction of the next phase of government formation.
