MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif expressed a desire to become the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
He was addressing a public rally at the University Ground in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday in connection with the election campaign for the 2026 polls.
Sharif said he would ask Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to appoint him as the prime minister of AJK if the PML-N wins the elections.
Chief Minister Punjab and PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz, Federal Ministers Amir Muqam, Rana Sanaullah, and senior party leadership are also present on the occasion.
