National stability will be protected, says Field Marshal Asim Munir

GUJRANWALA (Kashmir English): Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and determined to deal with internal and external challenges, extremist ideologies, and divisive forces that undermine national stability.

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal was briefed on the formation’s operational preparedness and the important steps taken to enhance its combat capabilities.

The ISPR said that the Field Marshal observed the field training exercise and modern simulator training facility, and the Field Marshal praised the high professional standards and overall preparedness of the formation.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the Field Marshal stressed the importance of synchronization with technology, being aware of the situation, and making timely decisions are indispensable in a modern combat environment.

The Field Marshal Asim Munir interacted with the officers and men and appreciated their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security. The Field Marshal stressed the importance of rigorous, objective-oriented training.

According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and determined to deal with internal and external challenges, extremist ideologies, and divisive forces that undermine national stability.

Upon arrival in Gujranwala, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces were received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
