MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Muzaffarabad police have arrested an absconding accused involved in a case of abduction, torture, and humiliation, district police said on Tuesday.
SHO Police Station Danna Ali Asghar Abbasi of, along with his team, conducted an operation and apprehended and imprisoned Mudassar Amin after five months of search.
According to the police spokesperson, the accused had allegedly abducted a person from his village, subjected him to physical and mental torture, and made his naked videos. The accused also cut the victim’s hairs, eyelashes, moustache, and humiliated him.
In another operation, the police arrested Basit Maqsood, a fugitive, who had been evading the law due to non-payment of a court-imposed fine.
He was arrested from Ambore village in Muzaffarabad, and has been sent to judicial custody, Danna police said.
