MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In Muzaffarabad, the District Magistrate has imposed Section 144 in a crackdown on beggars and hawkers. Under this measure, begging and hawking in public places have been banned and legal action has been taken against the violators.

This measure has been taken to restore peace and tranquility in the city and resolve the problems faced by the public.

This notification was issued recently by the District Magistrate to control the increasing number of beggars in the city and resolve the problems faced by the citizens in public places.

The administration has appealed to the public for cooperation so that this measure can be made effective and the atmosphere of the city can be kept calm.

In the past, concerns were expressed about the increasing number of beggars in Muzaffarabad, and Section 144 was imposed by the administration, however, due to its lack of effective implementation, the problems persisted.

However, this time the administration has vowed to implement it strictly so that the citizens can be saved from beggars.

The public has been requested to support this initiative and inform the concerned authorities in case of any violation so that immediate action can be taken.
