MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, is expected to experience very cloudy weather this afternoon, accompanied by light showers and a possible risk of storms.
Temperatures are forecast to range between 25 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius, which made conditions particularly warm during the afternoon hours.
According to the forecast, the reliability of this weather outlook remains very good.
The forecast indicates a precipitation chance of just 5 percent, with humidity at 85 percent and winds blowing at around 6 km/h.
Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Strong monsoon currents are penetrating the upper/central parts of the country from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. A westerly wave is also affecting most upper parts of the country.
Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in East/South Punjab, South-East/North Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Upper/Lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rain-wind/thundershower may also occur at isolated places in Southeastern Sindh during the period.
Earlier, SDMA issued a flood warning as the water from rain collected in the river, causing water levels to rise.
Whereas the Prime Minister of AJK has ordered SDMA and rescue officials to remain alert during this difficult time.
