MIRPUR (Kashmir English): A group of outside girls was caught today at Mirpur University of Science and Technology, who were involved in stealing bags, mobile phones, and other valuables of female students.

As a result of timely action by the university administration, the group was detained on the spot and later handed over to the police for action as per the law.

The administration has made it clear that strict measures will continue for the security of the campus and the safety of the students.

After this incident, the university administration advised the students to be careful in protecting their valuables and immediately inform the security or administration in case of any suspicious activity.

According to police officials, a case has been registered against the arrested persons and legal action has been initiated, and investigations are underway to find out whether this group has been active in other educational institutions as well.

The university administration has assured that stricter measures will be taken for security and protection of students on the campus, including CCTV surveillance, checking of entry and exit points, and increasing the number of security guards.

The administration’s top priority is to ensure the safety of students and provide a safe environment on the campus, and every possible step is being taken in this regard so that students can study in an academic environment without any threat.

Thanks to the timely action of the university administration, this theft was foiled in time, and the valuable belongings of the students were saved.
