MIRPUR/BANGKOK (Kashmir English): Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) heroes from Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, representing Azad Kashmir and Pakistan on behalf of Goclean PK, participated as official collaborators with Voice for Rights International in the International Diplomatic Conference held at the United Nations Conference Center, Bangkok (Thailand) from June 17 to 19, 2025, and got the Global Peace Award.

Speaking at the ceremony held in honour of the youth, speakers stated that this moment is a source of great pride and joy for Goclean PK.

Leadership qualities of students

At this international forum, Maryam Saleem, the founder and visionary of Goclean PK, who is only 14 years old, demonstrated her leadership effectively.

She was accompanied by two talented and enthusiastic young volunteers who are active ambassadors for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including 13-year-old Hashim Noor and 12-year-old volunteer Darab Khan.

Among 250 delegates from around the world, the SDG youth team demonstrated extraordinary diplomatic skills and leadership abilities, in recognition of which they were awarded the Global Peace Award.

SDG heroes stated, “We are committed to further expanding this international journey to promote leadership, awareness, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) among youth.”

Goclean PK will continue to offer its services as an official collaborator in future events and play an effective role in building a better, sustainable, and peaceful world.
