ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence on Sunday released 40 job vacancies for this year, with the last date to apply set as March 01, 2026.

The eligible candidates can apply for vacant positions in various pay scales from BS-1 to BS-18 from across the country, with the mentioned age limits and the requisite educational qualifications, and a quota has been reserved for women, minorities, and the disabled.

How to apply

The candidates can submit their applications online and can access fee deposit slips on the website, www.recruitments.com.pk.

The job notice, shared in multiple newspapers, mentions that the fee can be paid through ‘1 bill invoice’ from all participating banks/ATMs/Internet Banking/Easy Paisa / Jazz Cash/UPaisa/TCS express counters using 20 Digits invoice number generated in fee slip.

“Deposited Fee is non-refundable /non-transferable; therefore, candidates must ensure eligibility before applying for any post,” it added.

The last date of generation of deposit slips through the website will be March 01 till 1400 Hours.

Application fee

  1. Rs. 2500/- for posts in BS-17 and BS-18
  2. Rs. 2000/- for posts in BS-14 to BS-16
  3. Rs. 1600/- for posts in BS-9 to BS-13
  4. Rs. 1200/- for posts in BS-7
  5. Rs. 800/- for posts in BS-1 to BS-6

Moreover, disabled candidates will be exempted from the application fee, subject to the provision of Disability Certificates from relevant Government Departments.

Defence Ministry jobs

The job notice said that candidates must possess the requisite educational qualifications and must be within the age limits mentioned in the advertisement.

Furthermore, the ministry confirmed that the maximum age limit may be relaxed to the extent mentioned below; however, where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one category, he/she shall be allowed age relaxation only in one category.

The age relaxation by 3 years in the case of candidates belonging to the scheduled castes, Buddhist Community, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, AJ&K and Northern Areas (Gilgit Baltistan).

The age can be relaxed by 3 years forcandidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan for posts in BS-15 and below.

“By 10 years (up to the age of 55 years) in case of government servants who have completed 2 years continuous government service on the closing date for receipt of applications,” it added.

The age can be relaxed by 5 years in case of widows/widowers, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who died during service. “By 10 years in case of disabled persons for appointment to posts in BS-15 and below.”

For scrennig test, the job advertisment mentioned that negative marking will apply @ 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
