MUZAFFARABAD: The Joint Admission Committee of Azad Kashmir government has released the merit list of MBBS and BDS for admissions to medical and dental colleges in Azad Kashmir for the session 2024-25.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) released the provisional list for MBBS and BDS programs and the deadline to enter any complaint with the admission committee is 04:00 PM on February 08, 2025.
“This list is subject to correction/revision/amendment in case of any bonafide error, omission, lapse, mistake, fraud, or misrepresentation that occurs or is brought to the notice of the Joint Admission Committee,” the JAC statement said.
The admission authority has informed “candidates to make a written representation to it against any error, omission, lapse, mistake, fraud, or misrepresentation in this provisional merit list from February 6 to 8.”
For the registration of a complaint, candidates are required to attach documentary proof (e.g., result card, etc.) in support of his/her claim otherwise the complaint shall be rejected.
MBBS merit in Kashmir districts
The final merit of Poonch district for admissions in MBBS was the highest in Azad Kashmir at 93.35%. The final merit of the Bhimber district was 92.07%, while it was 88.90% in the Mirpur district, 92.43% in the Kotli district, and 92.30% in the Bagh district.
In Sidhnoti district, the merit was closed at 91.59%, while it was closed at 92.20% in Haveli district. The final merit of the Muzaffarabad district was 91.19%, the Jhelum Valley district was 90.86% and the merit in Neelum district was closed at 91.52%.
