DUBAI (Kashmir English): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named the match officials for the final of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 that will be played between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
According to details, Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf will serve as the on-field umpires for the final match. Andy Pycroft will perform duties as the match referee.
First T20 World Cup semi-final
It is worth mentioning that New Zealand beat South Africa by nine wickets in the first semi-final to make up a meeting with India in the final. Opener Finn Allen scored a record-breaking century in the semi-final game.
Meanwhile, India edged England by seven runs in a high-scoring encounter to qualify for the T20 World Cup final for the second consecutive time.
