TATTA PANI (Kashmir English): In order to promote quality education and ensure students’ admission to government educational institutions, an awareness walk was organized in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir
The walk under the admission campaign was conducted from Boys Higher Secondary School Mandhol to Mandhol Bazaar.
District Education Officer Poonch Babar Ayaz, Assistant Education Officer Poonch Abbaspur Sardar Najeeb Ahmed, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Mandhol Shakeel Ahmed, along with teachers, students, and representatives of civil society participated in the awareness walk.
Talking to the media, District Education Officer Babar Ayaz said that concrete steps are being taken to restore quality teaching and public confidence in government educational institutions and all available resources are being utilized to improve the quality of education.
Assistant Education Officer Sardar Najeeb Ahmed said that along with providing quality education at the primary level, effective guidance is also being provided to students in co-curricular activities, due to which the public’s confidence in government educational institutions is being restored.
Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Mandhol Shakeel Ahmed said on this occasion that he has admitted his daughter to this government educational institution because these institutions are the legacy of our ancestors and it is our responsibility to improve them.
He appealed to the parents to admit their children to government educational institutions so that they can get quality education.
The participants urged that if the provision of facilities in government educational institutions is ensured, not only will public confidence increase but far-reaching results can be achieved in improving the skills of the students.
