BAGH (Kashmir English): A grand celebration is underway in Bagh Jalsa, Azad Kashmir, where thousands of people have gathered to mark the success of the “Battle of Truth” and the historic defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia at Pakistan Zindabad Convention.
Former Prime Ministers of Azad Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan, have arrived at the venue with large convoys, accompanied by enthusiastic workers chanting slogans.
The event is part of a larger Pakistan Zindabad Convention, which has drawn massive public participation and is being described as a significant gathering in the region’s political history.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq announced a relief package of Rs 1 billion for the people of Poonch division at the Meerka-e-Haq Rawalakot Jalsa, highlighting the government’s efforts to support the local population.
The defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has been hailed as a major development, with the Prime Minister stating it has dealt a significant blow to India’s plans.
The convention is expected to be attended by prominent leaders, including former prime ministers, government ministers, and religious leaders, and is being seen as a show of unity and solidarity in the region.
