KARACHI (Kashmir English): YouTuber and TikToker Rajab Butt was attacked in a sessions court in Karachi on Monday. He is a suspect in a case for allegedly offending religious feelings.
Butt produced himself before the sessions court (Central), as his interim bail expired, which was extended to him on December 20. However, the proceedings got disrupted due to violence and mayhem as Butt was assaulted.
The popular TikToker Nadeem, known as Nani Wala, was also present at the occasion.
Earlier, the pair had returned to Pakistan with their mother, Irum Butt, from London, as the Islamabad High Court had granted the YouTubers 10 days of protective bail in response to a petition by the family members of the accused. The groups were led back to Pakistan by Azhar Khan, the former IGP of Gilgit-Baltistan.
