KUWAIT CITY (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, the Kuwait authorities have once again started recruiting skilled workers after lifting a 19-year visa ban on Pakistan.

According to reports, Kuwait had officially lifted the long-standing visa ban on Pakistan in May this year, after which work, family, business, and visit visas were restored.

It may be recalled that in the past, Kuwait had imposed a ban on issuing visas to citizens of Pakistan, Iran, Syria, and Afghanistan due to security concerns, which has now been lifted.

The Overseas Employment Corporation, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has started exporting skilled workers to Kuwait after a long hiatus.

Job Tittles

According to official sources, Kuwait is recruiting for jobs in various sectors, including the following positions:

Warehouse Supervisor: Age limit 35 years, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in English required

  • Warehouse Coordinator
  • Warehouseman
  • Carpenter
  • Assistant Furniture Worker
  • Driver
  • Unskilled Labour

Applicants must be skilled in customer service and have experience working in a retail warehouse or logistics company.

It should be noted that Pakistani workers working abroad send a large number of remittances home every year, which play an important role in strengthening the country’s foreign exchange reserves, especially at a time when Pakistan is facing a severe economic crisis.

The deadline for submission of applications has been set for August 15, 2025, and interested candidates have been instructed to submit their complete documents by the due date.
