MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Kotli Lions won the final of Chinar Supreme League 2025 by defeating Bagh Stalions.
Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir distributed prized among the players in the concluding ceremony.
The most senior minister, Waqar Noor, Deewan Ali Chughtai, Sector Commander SCO Col. Yusuf Javed, Minister for Sports, Secretary Sports, SSP Muzaffarabad among others were also present on the occasion.
A large number of spectators remained present in the stadium throughout the tournament.
Chinar Supreme League
Sixteen teams participated in the Chinar Supreme League that started at the Muzaffarabad Stadium on March 17 also featuring teams from six districts of the occupied Kashmir.
Kotli Lions were awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5 lac while the runner-up got a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 2.5 lac. Best performers were also awarded prizes.
Prime Minister congratulated the event organizers for holding the tournament, saying if India continued with its brutal policies in the occupied territory, the hands now holding bats would soon hold guns and cross the line of control.
He termed peace the biggest power for humanity adding that brutality needs to be tackled not by bat but bullet.
