ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Kia has officially revealed the 2026 facelift of the Stonic, a compact crossover that has gained popularity in global markets for its urban practicality and affordability.

The updated model introduces styling tweaks, new interior features, and improved efficiency to remain competitive in a fast-evolving segment.

Design and Feature Upgrades

Kia has updated the 2026 Stonic’s exterior design with more aggressive LED headlights, a new front grille, and sportier bumpers to give the car a better road presence.

Inside, the Stonic gets a more contemporary cabin with a bigger infotainment screen, improved connectivity features, and increased driver-assist systems to improve both user experience and safety.

New Powertrain Options

In some international markets, the new Stonic will come with mild-hybrid powertrains, as part of Kia’s drive to improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions across its model range.

International Launch and Production Timeline

The facelift Stonic debuted worldwide on September 1, 2025. Production will get underway later in the year at Kia plants in South Korea and Slovakia.

Sales launch will take place in early 2026 in Korea and Europe, followed by Australia, the Middle East, and South America launches by mid-2026.

No information is available for launch in Pakistan, but given Lucky Motors’ record, look for the facelifted Stonic to enter the Pakistani market towards the end of 2027 or 2028.

Stonic’s Status in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the Kia Stonic was introduced in late 2021 by Lucky Motors and is available in EX and EX+ trims, priced between PKR 5.7 million and PKR 6.3 million. Still, the locally available variant is the pre-facelift model.

The facelifted Stonic’s entry in Pakistan is not confirmed and is subject to various decisive factors:
Market Demand: Kia has given more importance to the Sportage and Sorento in Pakistan because of better sales.
Import Restrictions: Continued CKD import restrictions might postpone new model introduction.
Price Sensitivity: As vehicle prices are increasing, Kia can be expected to adopt a conservative mindset in releasing updated variants.
