Kashmiris to make every sacrifice for a strong, stable Pakistan: PM AJK

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that Kashmiris will not hesitate to make any sacrifice to make Pakistan strong and stable.

He was addressing the Legislative Assembly session here Thursday.

The PM said that given the volatile situation in the region, there was a dire need to burry all differences and foster complete unity across all levels of society.

Terming prosperous Pakistan as the center of hope for Kashmiris, PM Haq said Kashmiris were ready to offer any sacrifices for the sake of Pakistan.

“The entire Kashmiri nation stands firmly like an iron wall behind the armed forces of Pakistan in the face of Indian aggression”, the PM said, adding the nation is proud of Army chief Gen. Asim Munir.

He said since India has violated the territorial sovereignty of Pakistan, the armed forces of Pakistan have every right to respond and they will certainly respond to it with all their might, citing Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir speech in which he said that Pakistan has fought three wars on Kashmir and was ready to fight ten more if required.

Expressing complete solidarity with the Pakistani nation and Pakistan Army, the PM made it clear that Kashmiris will live and die for Pakistan.

Water aggression against Pakistan

Denouncing Indian attempts to target dams in AJK, the PM said, “If India commits water aggression and targets our dams, their dams will not be spared either”.

Stressing the need for complete unity, the Prime Minister said that it was high time stay united putting aside all political differences.

The PM said that the government has allocated a special budget to tackle the emergency situation in the aftermath of Indian attacks.
