LONDON (Kashmir English): Senior Vice President of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Birmingham, UK, Chaudhry Muhammad Shabbir, has strongly condemned the killing of 10 Kashmiris by Indian occupying forces in February through various acts of state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In his statement, Shabbir denounced the brutal policies of the Indian government in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the Kashmiri people are facing barbaric oppression for demanding their right to self-determination.
He emphasized that no amount of military repression can break the spirit of Kashmiri freedom.
Kashmir turned into world’s largest prison
He said that the Indian occupying forces have turned the entire region into the world’s largest prison, with security personnel stationed at every corner.
He further asserted that Kashmiris will never bow down to India’s illegal occupation and will continue their struggle until they achieve freedom.
He expressed confidence that one day, India’s oppression and injustices in the occupied region will come to an end, and Kashmiris will witness the dawn of freedom and peace.
He also accused the Indian regime of using excessive force and draconian laws to suppress the Kashmiri freedom movement but insisted that such tactics cannot stop them from continuing their struggle for self-determination.
He stated that India will eventually have to grant Kashmiris their birthright and leave occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged the international community to put pressure on India to end state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and help resolve the Kashmir dispute.
Shabbir also underlined the need to expose true ugly face of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir before the whole world at this crucial stage of the freedom movement.
