MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A grand Kashmir Solidarity Conference was held in Brescia, Italy, by Tehreek-e-Kashmir Europe to expose India’s state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and support the Kashmiri right to self-determination, with prominent leaders urging political activism and global action against illegal settlements.

The Kashmir Solidarity Conference happened at Brescia Italy through Tehreek-e-Kashmir Europe to mark the end of their two-week Kashmir Solidarity Campaign.

The event targeted Indian state-sponsored terrorism against Kashmiris while restating that Kashmiris deserve their right to decide their future. Members of both the Kashmiri and Pakistani communities gathered at this event which became the largest European exhibition of Kashmiri solidarity.

Prominent figures joined to make the event special including British Member of Parliament Afzal Khan together with Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK President Faheem Kayani and Milan’s Assistant Consul General Ahmed Waleed as well as Community Welfare Attaché Waqar Khan and activist Shamim Shawl.

At the gathering, Afzal Khan highlighted the significance of political activism for efficiently supporting the Kashmiri people. Political representation needs to be strong because it enables the forming of a powerful voice which challenges oppressors and their oppressive actions.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi serves as the representative of RSS according to Faheem Kayani. Faheem Kayani linked the fascist policies of Narendra Modi to those of Adolf Hitler while describing the impending dangers that these policies present to Kashmiris.

During the event, Kayani criticized India’s intentions to create illegal settlements in Kashmir by employing Israeli settlement strategies. He demanded that the international community launch prompt and powerful responses directed at this explicit brazen movement to modify demographic proportions in the area.

The gathering stressed the need for worldwide recognition followed by diplomatic measures to fight against Indian action in Kashmir. All participants reaffirmed their backing for Kashmiris fighting for their rights and demanded international involvement to protect human rights in Kashmir.
