MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department of Azad Kashmir, Raja Mushtaq, who had gone missing, has fallen into the hands of Kacha bandits.

The kidnappers have released a video of him, demanding a ransom of Rs 30 million for his release.

Raja Mushtaq belongs to the Dhirkot Tehsil of the Bagh District of Azad Kashmir.

In the released video, he is seen appealing to former PML-N candidate for the assembly, Raja Iftikhar Ayub, and others to pay the ransom and make his release possible.

After the incident, there is serious concern among the family and related circles, while the security agencies are investigating the matter.

It should be remembered that many citizens of Azad Kashmir have fallen into the hands of bandits before, who have been rescued by security agencies or released after paying a heavy ransom.
