NEW DELHI (Kashmir English): India has announced Shubman Gill as the new captain of the Indian ODI team in place of Rohit Sharma, along with the squad for the white-ball series against Australia this month.
Shreyas Iyer has been made vice-captain by the Indian Cricket Board.
Former captains Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have retired from Tests and T20 Internationals, are included in the ODI squad.
Both players will represent India for the first time since the Champions Trophy in March 2025.

The Indian team will play three ODI matches in Australia from October 19 to October 25, followed by a series of five T20 matches.
