MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Indian occupied army has allegedly set fire to the nearby forests in the Battal sector areas along the ceasefire line.

This action of the Indian Army is attributed to their aggressive behavior. As tension between Pakistan and India escalates, the Indian Army has tried various ways to disturb the peace of Pakistan.

This event comes in the broader context of deteriorating tensions with India and local authorities previously along the ceasefire line. The events raise concerns about the effects on the environment, local communities, and the situation along the ceasefire line.

Earlier, Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) between the night of April 29 and 30.

According to the security sources, the cross-border firing by India with unprovoked small arms fire took place in the Kiani and Mandal sectors.

However, the Pakistan Army retaliated strongly and gave a befitting reply to the Indian forces, after which Indian soldiers ceased their firing, sources said.

Meanwhile, there are reports of the destruction of multiple enemy posts due to the effective response of the Pakistan Army, with sources claiming the destruction of India’s Chakputra Post.

“One of the Indian check posts was destroyed on the LoC in Indian-occupied Kashmir,” they claimed.

Pakistani defense sources have confirmed that the country’s armed forces remain fully alert and prepared to respond to any form of aggression. Officials stated that “any hostile move by India would be seen as an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and would receive a strong and immediate response.”
