CHAGAI (Kashmir English): An important meeting of the Chagai District Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General of FC Balochistan (South) today.
The meeting was attended by the District Commissioner, the District Police Officer, the District Administration Chagai, and other important officials of institutions and departments.
The objective of the meeting was to take a detailed review of the welfare of the people, law and order, efforts for poppy eradication, health and education facilities, performance of open courts and jirgas for resolving public issues, evacuation of Afghan refugees, progress of ongoing development projects under Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) and overall regional security situation in Chagai district.
On this occasion, IGFC Balochistan (South) appreciated the efforts of the District Coordination Committee for mutual coordination and cooperation, including the speedy and dignified evacuation of Afghan refugees, poppy eradication measures, and timely and quality performance of all development projects under BSDI.
Furthermore, he directed the officers of all the concerned institutions to make mutual communication and cooperation more effective so that lasting peace and stability can be ensured in Chagai district, and all the institutions should play their effective and key role together for the development and prosperity of the people of Chagai district.
