BHIMBER (Kashmir English): The Azad Kashmir health department employee has been suspended after his obscene photos and videos with a woman went viral on social media, prompting swift disciplinary action from the authorities.
According to the order issued by District Health Officer (DHO) Bhimber, Muhammad Afzal, serving as a Junior Technician at Basic Health Unit (BHU) Jandala, has been suspended from duty following the viral incident.
“The said employee is immediately removed from his job and presented to the head office for his immoral acts,” the order stated.
DHO Bhimber has appointed Dr. Umair Fazil, Medical Superintendent (MS) of Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Samahni, as the inquiry officer to investigate the matter. He has been directed to submit a detailed report within seven days.
In his statement, DHO Bhimber emphasized that the department has a zero-tolerance policy toward violations of professional ethics, discipline, and departmental rules.
He added that such behavior tarnishes the image and sanctity of the health department.
