FORWARD KAHUTA, AJK (Kashmir English): Hamza Foundation in collaboration with PPAF organized an agricultural event in Budhal Sharif village, AJK.
The event was aimed to promote vegetable production at the household level and increase agricultural output.
Approximately 150 to 175 farmers actively participated in this event.
During the event, kitchen gardening seeds and toolkits were distributed among 75 women, while 100 farmers were provided with 5 kg of hybrid maize seed each.
The aim of this initiative was to promote vegetable production at the household level and enhance agricultural output.
Speakers on the occasion stated that kitchen gardening will not only meet household needs but also enable women to increase their income by selling surplus vegetables.
Hamza Foundation striving for welfare of farmers
Sarfaraz Ahmed Rathore, the organizer, in his address said that Hamza Development Foundation is striving to provide modern agricultural facilities for the welfare of farmers and the public in District Haveli, and such welfare initiatives will continue in the future.
At the end of the event, local residents highly appreciated this initiative, lauded the foundation’s efforts, and expressed hope that such programs would further promote local agriculture.
