ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, the federal government has decided to award the Nishan-e-Pakistan, the country’s highest civilian honor, to Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his diplomatic initiatives on global forums after the conflict with India.
According to the sources, Bilawal Bhutto and his delegation will receive the high-profile award today for successfully projecting Pakistan’s position in the world at a crucial juncture of regional tensions.
Following the war with India, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif established a parliamentary committee headed by Bilawal. The committee was tasked with presenting Pakistan’s stance on global platforms confidently and assertively.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari himself actively stood up for Pakistan’s peace narrative and addressed Indian aggression through interactions with international leaders and organizations.
Especially, he stood up for Pakistan’s perspective in the European Parliament, stressing the nation’s resolve for regional stability and peace.
His action in international diplomacy at that time has been globally recognized as critical in pushing back Indian narratives and reinforcing Pakistan’s diplomatic stance.
