ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Government initiated the Roshan Pankha, Roshan Pakistan Program to encourage citizens to substitute old electric fans with new energy-saving electric fans without spending any amount of money.
The program is introduced by the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA). According to the Managing Director, “The scheme will assist individuals in saving money on their electricity bills by using 5-star certified fans, which consume up to 70% less electricity.”

Step 1: Sign Up & Check Eligibility
Enter your CNIC number and electricity bill details. The system will check if you qualify and show your financing limit.
Step 2: Select Fans
Choose how many fans you want to replace. The company will visit your home, install new fans, and take photos of old and new fans. Old fans will be drilled so they cannot be used again.
Step 3: Confirm Installation
After installation, confirm it on the NEECA portal.
Step 4: Easy Installments
The cost of fans will be added to your monthly electricity bill in small, easy installments.
Eligibility Criteria for Roshan Pankha, Roshan Pakistan?
You can apply if:

You have a valid CNIC from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA)

The electricity bill is in your name

You have paid bills on time (not more than four late payments in the last 2 years)

You do not have any current installment plan

Your SIM is registered on your CNIC

You are a home (residential) user

You have old fans to replace
Financing Details
Families can get financing from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 300,000, depending on their eligibility and the number of fans. Installation will be done in 30 days.
