ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government has decided to launch two new residential sectors in Islamabad, aiming to meet the growing housing needs of government officials and employees from various sectors.
According to officials, Sectors F-12 and G-12 will be launched to the public this month. The Housing Authority stated that the layout plan for F-12 has been completed and all preparations for the residential project have been finalized, while work on the G-12 layout plan is progressing rapidly and will also be completed soon.
Sources said that the Executive Board of the Housing Authority approved both projects last month, after which implementation of the development projects began.
Under the direction of the Federal Minister, development work has also started in F-14 and F-15 sectors to provide more housing opportunities for citizens in the future.
Launch of new sectors to help meet housing needs
Officials clarified that these projects will not only increase residential facilities but also meet the infrastructure needs in line with the city’s expansion and growing population.
It is expected that after the launch of the new sectors, alternative housing options will be available in the urban areas of Islamabad, helping to provide better housing for the urban population.
This government initiative will not only offer a solution to the current housing crisis but also promote the city’s development and residential standards in the long term.
