ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Thursday increased diesel and petrol prices, which will take effect from May 1, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs6.51 per litre and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs19.39 per litre.
The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 399.86 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs 399.58 per liter, the notification said.
The revised prices of petroleum products will be implemented from 12 midnight tonight.
