Govt ensures steady supply of emergency medicines at CMH Rawalakot

RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): Recently, District Health Officer Poonch, Dr Naeem uz Zaman, announced that no disruption has taken place in supplying medicines at CMH Rawalakot.

He informed that the government has given Rs36 million to make sure emergency medicine is always available. This move is part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare services in the region.

According to the press release issued by the DHO’s office, tenders have also been issued for the purchase of essential hospital machinery and other facilities at CMH Rawalakot.

These steps aim to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare provided to the public.

Dr Zaman further noted that the digital X-ray system at CMH Rawalakot is now fully functional, allowing patients access to modern diagnostic tools.

He said that the citizens are being provided with modern and high-quality healthcare facilities for diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the MRI machine at the hospital is also fully operational and delivering services effectively.

Additionally, the press release explained recent changes happening at District Hospital Chak Damni. Work on the building project has been moving forward quickly and it’s anticipated to be finished during the present month. Following completion, the health department will take over the building.

Advance preparations have been made to ensure the Chak Damni Hospital has all the modern tools it needs for its opening.

Both an MRI machine and a CT scan machine are included in the plan and they will be installed as soon as everything is built and construction is completed.

This progress at CMH Rawalakot and other health centres is a significant move towards making modern, efficient and quality medical services available to the people of Azad Kashmir. Expected results from the government’s efforts will be real and lasting improvements in healthcare for those living in the region.
