ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The government of Pakistan has decided to celebrate this year’s Independence day under the theme of “Marka-e- Haq”.
The decision was taken in a meeting under the chairmanship of Federal Minister For Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal.
The meeting was attended by senior representatives from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Information, Interior, National Heritage and Culture departments and various ministries and institutions presented their planning and creative suggestions in the meeting.
According to the meeting’s announcement, After the directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif , the government decided to celebrate this year’s Independence Day with national enthusiasm and spirit.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the Pakistani nation will never compromise on its sovereignty.
He added that this year’s Independence Day will be celebrated under the theme of ‘Battle for Truth’, which aims to pay tribute to the nation’s determination, faith and sacrifice.
The minister further said that Pakistan will give a clear message to the world that this nation is proud of its dignity, sovereignty and strength. This is an opportunity for us to tell the world that Pakistan is a peace-loving country.
He noted that the Pakistani nation will never compromise on its sovereignty, this year we are not just celebrating Independence Day, but this is a moment of national revival.
The Federal Minister also said that such a moment shows the resistance of the nation, the state’s resilience and the emerging identity of Pakistan on the global stage.
