NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Google has officially announced the Pixel 10a, the newest and most affordable phone in its Pixel lineup, designed to bring premium AI features and solid performance to a wider audience.

The company posted a small teaser video on YouTube, in which it showcased its phone in a blue model with a metal frame and a flat back without bumps, just like its previous model.

Unlike most modern smartphones that have a camera bump, the back of the Google Pixel 10a has a clean and smooth finish, allowing it to lie flat on surfaces.

Google has also confirmed the launch of Google Pixel 10a, which will be available for pre-order starting from February 18, 2026, which is close to a month ahead of the Pixel 9a that launched in March.

Although the exact details remain unknown, as many leaks indicate, the Pixel 10a will be available with four color variants—Obsidian (black), Lavender (purple), Berry (pink), and Fog (grey). The Pixel 10a will run on the Tensor G4 processor, just like the Pixel 9a.

According to hardware leaks, the Pixel 10a may have a 6.3-inch AMOLED, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,100mAh battery, and support for 23W fast charging. Google has made minimal changes to the phone compared to the last version, but it seems they want to maintain the price competitiveness of the phone, which will now start at around $500.

The Pixel 10a is designed for those who want an Android-based phone with high-end features but at a lower price point, and that is why it is so competitive in the market for mid-tier phones.

Earlier in 2025, Google has launched the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, its new foldable flagship, with major upgrades in terms of durability, battery life, and internal hardware.

The phone comes with Android 16 pre-installed and will be supported with long-term software updates, similar to the rest of the Pixel 10 family.
