KARACHI (Kashmir English): Gold prices have decreased slightly in Pakistan after showing an upward trend for two consecutive days.

24-karat per tola gold price fell by Rs300 to settle at Rs362,400. While the 10-gram 24K gold rate dropped by Rs257 to Rs310,699, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

One gram of 24K gold sold for Rs28,481, a Rs236 decrease in price. With a little gain of $3, the price of gold on the international market was relatively stable at $3,397 per ounce.

Alongside gold, silver prices experienced a slight decline. The 24-karat silver tola dropped to Rs 4,064, a decrease of Rs 9. At Rs3,484, the price of 10-gram silver dropped by Rs7.

According to market analysts, these minor shifts point to a brief period of consolidation in the face of persistent uncertainty in the world economy.
