GAZA (Kashmir English): The Gaza genocide continues as at least 72 Palestinians, including women and children, were martyred in the Israeli military’s relentless bombardment, according to the Gaza Civil Defense Agency.
Israeli shelling killed 42 people in Gaza City alone as it is trying to capture Gaza’s largest urban center.
At least 65,549 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 167,000 injured in the past two years of Israeli attacks, while millions have been displaced.
Several people were killed when a residential building in the Nuseirat camp was bombed. Piles of rubble and destroyed houses were visible at the scene. Survivors tried to retrieve their belongings from the rubble.
Seven members of the Bakr family, including women and children, were killed in a late-night attack on the Al-Shati refugee camp. Witnesses said the family was sleeping when the missile struck.
Al-Shifa, Gaza’s largest hospital, confirmed that several bodies had been brought to the hospital after the attack. “We can’t sleep, the bombing is going on all the time. Where can we go, where can we take refuge?” one woman, Salma Bakr, said.
The Palestinian people say they are constantly being displaced and bombed and are unable to move to any safe place.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on September 29. Trump has said that “a deal has been reached on Gaza,” but Hamas has made it clear that they have not received any formal ceasefire plan.
