PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur reacted angrily to incumbent Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s claim that the march held during his administration was “fixed”, according to a leaked audio message reportedly shared in the party’s parliamentary group WhatsApp chat.

In the leaked audio, Gandapur said he had initially sent a message in jest but later reconsidered, realising that it could be leaked to the media. He criticised what he described as irresponsible behaviour and said such rhetoric was unbecoming.

Gandapur claimed that he had records of everything and warned that releasing them would expose those involved so thoroughly that they would find it difficult to show their faces in public.

He said he was maintaining silence out of respect for PTI founder Imran Khan and the party, adding that the language used in the remarks amounted to a serious accusation.

“Everyone has their own standing, and I know everyone’s worth and capacity,” Gandapur said, according to the reported audio.

He also criticised what he described as ingratitude and malicious behaviour, warning that there were limits to how far people should go before facing the consequences of their words and actions.

The former chief minister made it clear that he would not tolerate what he considered unacceptable remarks, urging those involved to focus on themselves and demonstrate their own performance rather than criticise others.
