MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir State, Iftikhar Gilani, has said September 6, 1965, is a historic day of unity and solidarity of the martyrs, veterans, and the Pakistani nation.
In his special message on the occasion of Pakistan Defense Day, he said that “we pay tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistani forces, including the entire Pakistani nation.”
The PM AJK said that “In 1965, the whole world saw how the armed forces and the nation of Pakistan united and crushed Indian arrogance.”
He said that the whole world saw how Pakistan demonstrated its military strength and defense capability during the Marka-e-Haq.
The PM added that “I pay tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for this success.”
Iftikhar Gilani said that “Pakistan has demonstrated its capability and strength at the global level, this is a matter of pride for the entire Pakistan, especially for us Kashmiris.”
He said that a strong and stable Pakistan is the guarantor of the freedom of the Kashmiri nation. The strength and stability of Pakistan is a source of hope and courage for the Kashmiris.
At the end of his message, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said, Long live Pakistan, long live Azad Kashmir.
