HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Director General Special Communication Organization (SCO) Major General Umar Ahmad Shah inaugurated the Freelancing Hub in Hattian Bala, Jhelum Valley.
The hub aims to provide online employment opportunities to the youth and enhance their skills in the digital world.
The hub is equipped with high-speed internet, technical training, and other basic facilities for freelancers.
The initiative is part of SCO’s mission to bring modern technology to the common man and empower the youth in the digital economy.
Talking on the occasion, DG SCO Major General Umar Ahmad Shah said that he digital economy is the future of the world, and we need to empower our youth in this journey.
“The Freelancing Hub will open doors of employment and give the youth an opportunity to express their talent on a global scale.”
Deputy Commissioner Beenish Jarral said that this initiative is a positive step towards the development of the area and the autonomy of the youth.
The local people appreciated the initiative and hoped that the establishment of a freelancing hub would provide new opportunities for employment and development to the youth of Hattian Bala and the surrounding areas.
