MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Independence Day of Pakistan is being celebrated with national enthusiasm and enthusiasm across Azad Kashmir.
Official and public events were held in various cities, including flag hoisting, cake cutting, the national anthem, and prayers for the security of the country.
In Kohala, President Muslim Conference and the former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan, attended the flag hoisting ceremony organized by the Armed Forces of Pakistan. A huge tribute was paid to the Pakistani forces in the ceremony.
A Pakistan Day ceremony was held at the district headquarters in Bagh, in which a large number of school students and the public participated. The special guest, Government Minister Sardar Mir Akbar, said that Pakistan is no less than a blessing; the value of freedom can be asked from the people of occupied Kashmir, who are suffering from Indian oppression. At the ceremony, a 200-foot-long flag of Pakistan and Kashmir was made and released into the air, a police contingent saluted, and prayers were offered for the security of the country.
Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider said in his video message that Pakistan is the only Islamic country formed in the name of Islam.
I pay tribute to the armed forces, especially Army Chief General Asim Munir. He said that our forces defeated an enemy five times bigger than us, and today we pay tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army. He said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has put the country on the path of development, and under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N will make Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan. He added that Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable, no force can separate us, and the people of occupied Kashmir will achieve the goal of freedom and Pakistan.
A special program was organized by the Pakistan Army on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day at Captain Sarwar Shaheed’s place near the Line of Control in Chakothi, in which local people and military personnel participated and expressed their love for the country.
