SAMAHNI (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and President of the Muslim Conference, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, visited the Samahni ceasefire line to commend the Pakistan Armed Forces following the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, where he urged support for the forces and defence upgrades.

Addressing a ceremony at the Dub Sandowa sector, Sardar Attique stated that Pakistan’s military had revived the Kashmir issue by defeating the combined technology of Israel, France, and Russia.

He declared that India was now thoroughly trapped, vowing that the operation would continue with the full support of Pakistanis and Kashmiris.

He praised the Army Chief’s recent remarks, stating that the Ghazwa-e-Hind has begun and that he prays to be included in Imam Mahdi’s army, victory will, God willing, belong to Islam.

Attique further demanded that the government promote the Army Chief to the rank of Field Marshal, accusing politicians of having “forgotten the Two-Nation Theory” until the military leadership reiterated it.

Attique noted that several nations, including Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, had abandoned India to support Pakistan. He emphasised that the Muslim Conference’s three-decade-long stance on Kashmir had now gained nationwide consensus.

While reaffirming solidarity with the armed forces, he warned that India could act recklessly at any time, given the fragility of the ceasefire.

He urged the government to fortify border communities by constructing bunkers in every home along the Line of Control (LoC), stating that civilian presence was critical for troop morale.

The AJK leader pressed for immediate measures, including establishing blood banks, defence committees, and emergency supplies like ambulances and food.

He stated these measures were necessary as Pakistan would continue Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos if India persisted with its own military activities.

He maintained his resolve to see Kashmir through its struggle for independence. The speech referenced the continuous conflicts present in the region, hence demanding defence upgrades.

Khan pointed out that it was vital to be ready and united in the event of future Indian aggression. He insists that having public support strengthens morale among the armed forces.
