ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that the first flights of Hajj 2025 pilgrims will be arriving in Saudi Arabia next week.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has prepared a phased arrival schedule to ensure a smooth experience for the Hajj pilgrims in 2025.
According to the ministry, the first flight is scheduled to land from South Africa on April 28 (the start of the Hajj pilgrimage season). On April 29, flights from Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh are scheduled to arrive, followed by pilgrims from Indonesia to enter the holy land of Saudi Arabia on May 2.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that all preparations to welcome the pilgrims are complete to help facilitate the experience for the millions expected to perform the sacred journey in Makkah.
Concerning the Hajj, the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan has provided key requirements for planning pilgrims. There will be a requirement for potential pilgrims to have the relevant vaccination and procured a Yellow card from the Haji camp before departing Saudi Arabia.
There will also be a requirement for pilgrims to have a vaccination certificate to enter Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Covid–19 vaccine cards must be brought by pilgrims over 65 years old.
