LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): Five people who went missing from Reshiyan to Leepa Valley were found safe after 17 hours in Dawkhan.

Yesterday, on the instructions of Commander Leepa Valley, a Pakistan Army unit had launched a rescue operation after the five people went missing, alongside the locals.

According to locals, five people from the Antilia area of ​​Leepa Valley were missing for 17 hours while going from Reshiyan to Leepa, and their trace was found in Dawkhan Dhok.

The operation to search for the missing people continued at night, while the people of  Valley breathed a sigh of relief after finding the missing people, and they also expressed disappointment over the lack of cooperation from the Azad Kashmir government.

It should be remembered that there has been heavy snowfall this year, due to which the life routine has been paralyzed for several days, and efforts are being made for restoration.

Recently, a citizen died after being trapped in the snow in the Malot area of ​​Bagh district in Azad Kashmir, while a child also died of suffocation after sleeping next to a heater due to the severe cold.
