KHYBER (Kashmir English): Pakistani forces have successfully targeted enemy UKKs personnel from AP-1 and Zangi-5 posts, killing 5 more enemy militanst including an expert sniper, according to sources.
The Bodies of the killed enemy personnel are lying across the Pak-Afghan border. According to sources, militants were identified on the night of February 26 through thermal imaging cameras and troops stationed at forward posts.
Three militants, including a sniper, were seen moving northwest of one post, while two others were seen crawling towards another forward post.
Sources further revealed that efforts were made by enemy forces to retrieve the bodies, during which an evacuation team was also targeted.
The military stated that the successful identification and precision strike thwarted an infiltration attempt and reiterated that any kind of hostile activity along the LoC would be met with a decisive response.
Pakistan Security Forces’ Warning to Afghan Taliban Regime
Pakistan security forces issued a stern warning that any provocation by Afghanistan will not be tolerated.
Border violation, infiltration, or any other adventure will be responded to promptly and forcefully. Pakistan is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and border integrity.
Moreover, amid the tension on the Pak-Afghan border, Pakistan Army soldiers deployed on the Bajaur border have reiterated their resolve to protect the motherland.
A soldier present on the Bajaur border says that firing was fired from the Afghan border at night, repeatedly.
According to the soldier, the Afghan Taliban have no idea which nation they have challenged. He said that in the retaliatory action, several hideouts of terrorists, especially the Afghan Taliban, were targeted and destroyed.
He said that our nation is not afraid of anyone. If anyone messes with us at the behest of India, it will cost them dearly.
The soldier further said that Pakistan knows how to defend itself.
Security Forces Captured Afghan Taliban post
Pakistani forces have captured an Afghan Taliban post in Bajaur. In response to the Afghan Taliban firing on Pakistani posts, Pakistani security forces infiltrated Afghanistan and targeted the enemy personnel.
The Pakistan government has confirmed heavy casualties on the Afghan side, with multiple posts and equipment destroyed.

In a statement from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Afghan Taliban regime’s unprovoked action along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border given an immediate and effective response.
The statement added that “Afghan Taliban miscalculated and opened unprovoked fire on multiple locations across Pakistan Afghanistan border in KP, which is being met with immediate and effective response by Pakistan’s security forces.”
Taliban regime forces are being punished in Chitral, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, and Bajaur sectors, as per the statement.
Pakistan will take all necessary measures to ensure its territorial integrity and the safety and security of its citizens.
Earlier, heavy firing between Pakistan armed forces and Afghan forces has been reported at various places along the Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security sources said.
As per details, firing is ongoing at Maro Sar and Shah Kot Sar in the Bazar Zakha Khel area of Khyber district.
Sources said that heavy weapons are being used by both sides in the exchange of fire, which started at 5:15 pm.
No immediate reports of casualties are reported, security sources added.
