DAVOS (Kashmir English): International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino says he will visit Pakistan very soon.

In an exclusive talk with Pakistan Digital in Davos, the FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that he has promised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Pakistan soon.

He said that the Pakistan Football Federation got a new president who is doing a Fantastic job, adding that Pakistan is a great football country.

He noted that FIFA will help Pakistan rise to the top of Asian football by giving every talent a chance.

2026 FIFA World Cup

The tournament is being hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and will kick off on June 11 when the co-hosts face South Africa at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

There will be 11 different locations, with games taking place in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, the New Jersey/New York region, Philadelphia, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay area.

Canada will stage a total of 13 matches, to be held in Toronto and Vancouver. Mexico will stage a further 13 matches, to be held in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.
